Paragraph 1: The first passage
The first passage is a cruel reality that slaves faced back in the 1600-1865. The slaves would be sold and loaded on to boats by the Europeans and taken on horrible voyages. On the trip they would die, be feed slop and made to dance to stay fit. That is why the slave trade triangle is horrible and cruel but the plantations were just as bad.
Paragraph 2: What was the plantation like.
The plantation were brutal and cruel. After the slaves were sold they would be bought back to the owners place and would be made to work for no pay and were hurt. They would be branded, whipped and forced to live in inhumane conditions. That is what the slaves faced at plantations after the already horrible voyage.
