Cooking Burger Reflection

Yesterday we cooked burgers in Home EC
 This is the recipe.

Basic Hamburger Recipe

Ingredients - Serves 4
• 250g lean beef or lamb mince
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 1 egg
• 1cup soft white breadcrumbs
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tsp oil

Method
1. Mix the mince, onion, egg, breadcrumbs and seasonings
together.
2. Using wet hands shape into 4 flat patties of equal size.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan, add patties and cook for about 5
minutes each side or until cooked through.

4. Serve between buns or bread with desired fillings.
We were careful with the knifes by not stabbing or dangerously cutting
anything and we cooked it properly by making sure it was raw.
It is not okay to eat raw patties because bacteria can make us sick.
To avoid cross contamination we keep the meat and the veges separate so the meat couldn't contaminate the veges.
